Book Review:

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀
𝐶ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑎 𝐿𝑎𝑢𝑟𝑒𝑛

I have had this on my TBR list forever and finally got the chance to read it. This book was so cute, you guys! Yes, it was the enemies to lovers trope, but it had some unique elements that made me laugh, cringe, and say awww!

𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨:
Ami and Olive are twins, but couldn’t be more different. Ami is about to marry a dude bro named Dane, and Olive is the maid of honor to Ethan’s (Dane’s hunky but terrible older brother) Best Man. At the wedding, everyone starts projectile vomiting due to some bad fish, and the only people who didn’t eat it are Olive and Ethan… they go on the honeymoon in Ami and Dane’s place, and let the romantic hilarity ensue!

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙇𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙙:
The book was not just about the relationship between Ethan and Olive. The author explored the relationship between the sisters, and their family which I always love to read about. Also, Olive was kind of finding herself and I think while it wasn’t a main part of the story, it added a layer of depth to her that I appreciated.

I enjoyed getting to know the characters, especially Ethan. He was like a hunky onion with a lot of layers that I enjoyed getting to know. Dane was like a caricature of a dude bro without any redeeming qualities, but I was okay with that, since we didn’t actually know that right away. His dude bro-ness developed perfectly. 

The ending was great! Very satisfying ending and resolution to all the relationships – between Ami and Olive, Ami and Dane, and Ethan and Olive.
